The KijaniCooling Consortium is pleased to announce that consortium partner Université Gaston Berger (UGB) will host the 3rd West African Conference on Renewable Energies (WACRE 2025) from 20–22 November 2025 at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, Senegal.
Held under the theme “Renewable Energies, Sustainable Growth, Sovereignty and Climate Resilience,” the conference will bring together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements in renewable energy and strategies for accelerating the energy transition across West Africa. As a key platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, WACRE 2025 aligns closely with KijaniCooling’s mission of advancing sustainable waste management, renewable energy, and climate-resilient solutions for Africa.
